If Fellini made a teen vampire love story, I'm certain it could look a little like this.
Frankly, it wouldn't be out of place as an installation in art gallery. Every shot is visually perfect, and the soundtrack is excellent - there is not a moment of this film that isn't stunningly atmospheric, yet at the same time, its scale is somehow deeply personal. Ultimately, for all its mysteries and ambiguities, it's also strangely touching. All the actors were unknown to me but every single one put in a great performance. A super special mention to the lead actress, she was spell binding to watch.

It's not as good as say "Near Dark" or "Fright Night". The excellent soundtrack is probably the best thing about it, with long scenes devoted to just playing a particularly song. The plot is the least satisfying thing. It's a bit slow and lacking twists, and the characters are fairly stereotypical.
